Moon Township, Pa. –
Robert Morris University volleyball head coach
Dale Starr has announced the addition of one student-athlete for the 2016 season.
Kendra Harlow (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East) will join the Colonials for the 2016-17 academic year.

Harlow, daughter of Erika and Andrew Harlow, is a three-year varsity letter winner out of Smithtown East High School and was selected as captain for her senior campaign. She is a three-time all-county player, two-time all-county Elite Eight player selection (Suffolk County coaches' poll), a Newsday All-Long Island selection (sports writers' poll) and an All-New York State honoree (New York State coaches' poll). Harlow is expected to be selected to both the All-Long Island and All-New York State teams at the conclusion of this season.
"We are excited to add Kendra to our program," said Starr. "She brings great athleticism, length and is a very competitive player. She has a fiery personality and is a hard worker. I think she will fit in very well with our team and what we like to do both offensively and defensively. I am excited to work with Kendra and am looking forward to having her join us in the fall."
The six-foot middle has five years of club volleyball experience with the Long Island Volleyball Academy (ACAD). She was a member of two GEVA Regional Championship teams (ACAD 16s and ACAD 17s) and participated at the USAV junior nationals each of those seasons. Harlow and the ACAD 18s will compete for another GEVA Region title and a trip to nationals later this year.
