CapsuleThe Robert Morris University women's soccer team, in its first Northeast Conference Tournament, will take on top-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson University in the championship game Sunday, Nov. 8, with tip-off slated for Noon. The Colonials advance to the title tilt following a 2-1 win against Bryant Friday, the first time RMU has ever defeated the Bulldogs. The Knights, serving as tournament host, defeated #4 Saint Francis U 7-4 in a high-scoring, chippy affair Friday.

Robert Morris is 10-10 overall and earned the second seed in the conference tournament with a 5-3 record. Fairleigh Dickinson went through its conference slate unblemished at 8-0 and is 15-5 overall.

In the teams' regular season meeting, which took place last Sunday, RMU took a 1-0 lead before the Knights rallied to upend the Colonials, 2-1, in regulation.

The Series vs. Fairleigh DickinsonRobert Morris is 5-10-1 all-time against Fairleigh Dickinson, including a 0-3-1 record in the last four matches. RMU has not won in Teaneck since 2000, beating the Knights that season, 4-0. The Colonials are just 1-7 in games at University Field.
