CapsuleIt has been 20 years since the Robert Morris University men's soccer team last opened a season with four consecutive wins. They will have a chance to do it again Sunday, Sept. 6, when they play host to the Eastern Illinois Panthers in a 1:00 p.m. game at North Athletic Complex. The Colonials earned wins on the road against Niagara (1-0, 8/28) and Cleveland State (4-1, 8/30) before beating Saint Peter's (2-1 OT, 9/4) in their home opener Friday. Eastern Illinois is 1-2 early on, suffering losses at #18 Xavier and at Pitt. Their win was a 3-1 decision at Lipscomb.

- Brett is the Northeast Conference Player of the Week after a four-goal performance in a 4-1 win at Cleveland State Sunday night
- Brett has three hat tricks in his career, tied for most in team history with Jacek Przednowek (2005-07)
- Brett was named to the Mac Hermann Trophy Watch List, an award that is given annually to the best men's soccer player in the nation
- A two-time NEC Player of the Year, Brett is the leading scorer in NCAA Division I over the last two seasons accumulating 69 points on 29 goals and 11 assists
- The Colonials defense has allowed just 8.5 shots per game and one goal – a penalty kick – through two games
