Each of the three programs also have weekly coaches shows, which take place at various locations in the Pittsburgh Region, including The Yard and the All-Star Sports Grill, both in Robinson Township, Pa. The coaches shows feature head football coach
Bernard Clark, Jr., men's basketball head coach
Andrew Toole and men's ice hockey head coach
Derek Schooley.
"Robert Morris University is extremely excited and happy to continue its partnership with iHeartMedia," King said. "It puts us in the center of the Pittsburgh media market alongside some of the most recognizable brands in sports."
All Robert Morris football and men's basketball and home men's hockey games can be heard on ESPN Pittsburgh 970 AM and 106.3 FM, on the station's website, as well as on iHeartRadio, an all-in-one digital radio platform.
The Voice of the Colonials and member of the RMU Athletic Hall of Fame, Chris Shovlin, spearheads the football and basketball broadcasts with respective color commentators Brian Cleary and Jim Elias. Adam Gusky lends support to the broadcasts with play-by-play when scheduling conflicts arise. For hockey, Tim Benz handles play-by-play and Mike Prisuta color.
ESPN Pittsburgh and radio station WDVE-FM 102.5 are the flagship radio stations for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and are owned by iHeartMedia, as is WXDX-FM 105.9, flagship radio station for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
