PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Robert Morris University junior midfielder Kaoru Hayashi capped off her first season in Moon Township with some Horizon League plaudits Thursday when it was announced that Hayashi was named to the Horizon League All-Conference second-team.
It is the first such honor of Hayashi's career.
The lone representative for the Colonials on the end of season awards ballots, Hayashi finished tied for the team lead in goals with one on the year in her first season as a Colonial.
The Ama, Japan native ended the 2021 campaign ied for most on the squad in total shots with 22 and led the team in shots on goal with eleven. She started all nine games in the midfield for RMU, and her 783 minutes was third highest on the team.
