PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Robert Morris senior goalkeeper Jamie Keller was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week following her performance against Akron last Wednesday, the conference announced today.  The win is the first ever DPOW honor for Keller and the first weekly MAC award given to a Colonial in 2022.

The McMurray, Pa. native picked up her third win of the season to help RMU stay perfect in MAC play, making 12 saves in RMU's 10-6 win at Akron last week.

Her 12 stops were one off of her season high and were part of a barrage of 26 total shots she faced on the day, limiting Akron to just six goals, the fewest she's allowed in a full game in 2022. Keller also grabbed two ground balls in the victory.

The Colonials return to action Wednesday when they host Central Michigan at Joe Walton Stadium at 1:00 p.m.
