Moon Township, Pa. – The Robert Morris University women's soccer team looks to keep their three-game win streak alive when they open up Horizon League play against Green Bay on Thursday afternoon, before traveling to Milwaukee on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Colonials extended its winning streak to three-straight and pulled off a weekend sweep over Delaware State and UMBC, with a 5-1 victory over the Hornets and a 1-0 win over the Retrievers.
Five different Colonials scored, while six players registered an assist in the dominating win over Delaware State.
Chelsea Kingston,
Haleigh Finale, and
Malia Kearns all tallied an assist and goal, while
Gabriella Lecuona and
Taylor Day found the back of the net.
Cali Laymon,
Renae Mohrbacher, and
Kayla Veloso-Lima all tallied an assist during the win. Laymon and Day each recorded career firsts.
Veloso-Lima then recorded her third game-winning goal of her career against UMBC as
Paloma Swankler was credited with the assist.
TEAM LEADERS
Through seven contests, Finale and Lecuona lead Robert Morris with eight total points apiece (3G, 2A). The dynamic duo is each averaging 1.14 points per game, while Finale sits at the top of the Horizon League in shots (28) and shots on goal (14).
Mohrbacher paces the conference with four assists, while Kearns sits second with three. Kearns, Swankler, Kingston, Veloso-Lima and
Elisa Corvalan each have two goals for Robert Morris.
Redshirt senior goalkeeper
Isabella Bohlen sits tied for second in the league with four goals allowed, while having the fifth best save percentage this season (.826). Bohlen has collected 19 saves on 50 shots faced to go along with two shutouts.
STATS TO KNOW
The Colonials continue to pepper opposing goalkeepers at a high rate this season, currently leading the Horizon League in total shots at 137 and shots per game at 19.57. As a team, RMU paces the conference with 10.29 shots per game on goal and has out shot their opponents in six of seven games in 2022.
Robert Morris is outshooting their opponents 137 to 51 and has more shots on goal at 72 to 24. In the last three games, the Colonials are averaging 28.3 shots per game as they established a new single-game record with 42 shots against Delaware State. The old mark of 39 came Oct. 10, 1998, in a 5-0 win over Charleston (W.Va.).
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
Green Bay is under new leadership as Julie Grutzner returns to her alma mater to lead the Phoenix. Grutzner enters her first season at the helm of the program after taking over as the interim head coach in October of 2021.
The Phoenix come into Thursday's contest on a three-game losing streak after winning their first two contests to begin the year. Robert Morris holds a 0-0-1 record against Green Bay as they tied last years meeting in Wisconsin.
Green Bay is led by senior MaKayla Kertscher and freshman Zoey Pagles, who both have four total points. Pagles leads the way with two goals this season, while Kertscher and senior Emily Murphy each tallied two assists.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
2021 Horizon League Champions, Milwaukee comes into the contest with a 3-2-1 overall record. The Panthers are coming off a 3-2 road loss to the Wisconsin Badgers last Thursday, where they gave up the most goals all season.
The Panthers hold a 4-0 record against the Colonials as they have won four-straight matches, dating back to 2017. Milwaukee secured a 2-0 victory over Robert Morris last season in Moon Township.
Milwaukee is led by sophomore Kayla Rollins who is tied for first in the conference with four goals and eight points. Senior Haley Johnson is the only Panther with multiple assists this season as her and four others have recorded a goal.
