Opening Kick-Off
  • The Robert Morris University women's soccer team is set to host Northern Kentucky in Horizon League action, as they welcome the Norse tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
  • In their last game, the Colonials were down early, 0-1 at Cleveland State. Leading the comeback, Haleigh Finale down the right wing scored a shot through the keeper's legs in the second half.
  • Five minutes later, Elisa Corvalan smashed in the game-winning goal in the 60th minute.
  • Goalkeeper Brenna Murray came up big for the Colonials as well, making four saves, including a stop on a penalty kick, 10 minutes into the match.
  • In their last away game, the Colonials walked away with a 1-1 tie at Oakland (10/5). Sophomore Renae Mohrbacher scored her seventh goal of the season in the game.
  • Currently, RMU is ranked second in the Horizon League conference.

The All-Time Series (Northern Kentucky) – Overall, RMU is 2-4-1 against the Norse. The first meeting came back in 2013, as the Colonials won, 1-0 at the NAC. Recently, last year's game ended in a 1-1 tie. Back in the 2021 season, the Colonials fell to the Norse, 2-3. Kaoru Hayashi scored as well as senior Haleigh Finale on a penalty kick.
 
Scouting the Norse – Currently, NKU is 2-2-3 in conference games, owning an even .500 win-percentage. Statistically, Kylie Anderson and Erykah Cornett are the programs leading goal scorers with four goals apiece. Junior defender Lilly Yordy has passed out the most assists with four. Defensively, junior Maria Wiefering has played the most minutes on the back line. She's played 1,154 minutes to date. In goal, senior Mickayla Kowalski has started all 14 games for the Norse. She's made 52 saves leading to an .813 save percentage. From Harrison, Ohio, the goalie has won five games and paced for six total clean sheets.
