MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's basketball team is set to faceoff against Pitt in a road non-conference contest tomorrow afternoon. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. and can be seen live on the ACC Network.
 
RMU LATELY
RMU Is coming off a heartbreaking loss to in-state foe Saint Francis, 58-55 on Wednesday night. Isys Grady had her most productive game as a Colonial as she scored 15 points while adding four assists and three steals. Noa Givon chipped in 12 points as she attempted a team-high 14 field goals. Through four games, the Colonials have been one of the best teams in the Horizon League in total defense as they've allowed only 57 points per game this season which is good for second best in the conference.

RMU AND PITT HISTORY
This will be the first time these two teams have met since 2006 as the Colonials have yet to win a matchup in 23 previous contests. The first game took place during the 1983 season as Pitt and RMU played each other every year from 1983 to 2006.
 
RMU AND PITT LAST TIME OUT
RMU in the last matchup put up a valiant effort against the Panthers as the Colonials lost 79-69 at the Petersen Events Center. RMU alum Chinata Nesbit led the Colonials with 20 points and 12 rebounds as RMU nearly came back from trailing by 15 points at halftime.
 
UP NEXT
The Colonials will have a quick turnaround as they'll take yet another Western PA road trip to face Duquesne on Monday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+.
