RMU Women's Hockey Announces 2024-25 Schedule

Colonials slated to play 34-game campaign

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's hockey team released its schedule for the 2024-24 season, head coach Logan Bittle announced Monday.
 
The Colonials are slated to play a 34-game campaign, which includes 20 Atlantic Hockey America contests.
 
"We're excited about our 2024-25 schedule," said Bittle. "The AHA is shaping up to be another tight group and we look forward to battling for a championship. Our non-conference schedule is a great test and we can't wait to see how we match up with some of the top programs in the country. We're looking forward to seeing all the Colonial hockey fans at the Island this year."
 
RMU begins the 2024-25 season on home ice against Union on September 27 at 7:00 PM. The series finale is the following day at 3:00 PM.
 
Continuing non-conference play, the Colonials host Bemidji State (October 4-5), play at Clarkson (October 11-12), welcome Princeton (October 18-19) and play a series at Saint Anselm (October 25-26).
 
The Colonials will begin conference action on the road as they travel to RIT (November 1-2).
 
Before the winter break, RMU will compete in four more series with three more against AHA opponents. The Colonials will host Mercyhurst (November 15-16), play at Penn State (November 22-23), at Syracuse (December 6-7) and wrap up 2024 in Long Island (December 13-14).
 
To begin 2025, RMU will welcome Yale for their final non-conference series (January 3-4).
 
RMU then finishes out the campaign with 12 consecutive conference games. The Colonials head on the road to Lindenwood (January 10-11), welcome RIT to Clearview Arena (January 17-18) and play their final away series at Mercyhurst (January 24-25).
 
Concluding the regular season, the Colonials will play six-straight home games with series' against Penn State (January 31-February 1), Syracuse (February 7-8) and Lindenwood (February 14-15). Senior Day will be on February 15 at 12:00 PM.
 
The 2025 AHA postseason will open with a quarterfinal round beginning on Saturday, February 22 between the six and three and the five and four seeds. The AHA semifinals will take place from February 28-March 2 for a best-of-three series. The lowest remaining seed will face the number one seed and the second-lowest remaining seed will play the number two seed. The AHA championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 with the highest remaining seed set to host.
