RMU Women's Hockey Signs Five Players

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's hockey team is proud to announce the addition of five dynamic student-athletes to its roster for the 2025-26 season. This class features two defensemen and three forwards, each poised to contribute to the growth of the program's competitive culture and success on and off the ice.

"We are excited to welcome these five to the Colonial Women's Hockey family," said Head Coach Logan Bittle. "They have all had very successful careers with their junior programs and we're looking forward to what they bring to RMU both on and off the ice."

Linnea Misner | Defenseman | Springfield, Manitoba
Known for her high hockey IQ and playmaking ability, Linnea Misner is a versatile defender with exceptional poise on the ice. Her ability to read plays and control the flow of the game makes her an asset in all situations. Linnea has represented Team Manitoba at the U18 National Championship and currently plays for RINK Kelowna, one of Canada's premier U18 programs. Her explosive skating and steady defensive presence are sure to make an immediate impact at RMU.

Molly Dunn | Defenseman | Stittsville, Ontario
Molly Dunn brings a commanding presence to RMU's blue line with her size, physicality, and intensity. Now in her third season with the U22 Nepean Wildcats, she has established herself as a steady, physical defender who excels in shutting down opposing offenses. Her 2023 experience with Ontario Blue at the Canadian U18 Nationals and selection for the National Women's U18 Development Program demonstrate her potential to thrive at the next level. Molly's mentality and style of play align seamlessly with RMU's vision of building a strong and unified defensive core.

Hannah Thornton | Forward | Brooklin, Ontario
Hannah Thornton has been a cornerstone of the Whitby Jr. Wolves, one of Canada's top junior teams, where she has developed into a vocal leader and consistent offensive contributor. Last season, she tallied 39 points, including 17 goals and 22 assists, and continues to be a driving force for her team this year. Hannah's leadership on and off the ice and her ability to set the tone for her team will make her a valuable part of RMU's culture and future success.

Alexis Vrana | Forward | Kingston, Ontario
As the captain of the Kingston Jr. Ice Wolves, Alexis Vrana brings a fierce competitive edge and physical presence to RMU's forward group. Known for her aggressive forecheck and relentless work ethic, Alexis is a consistent playmaker who thrives in high-pressure situations. Her time in Kingston has not only refined her skills but also developed her leadership abilities, making her a perfect fit for RMU's culture of hard work, team-first mentality, and continuous growth.

Mary Snyder | Forward | Toledo, Ohio
Mary Snyder is a strong, two-way centerman whose combination of skill and hockey sense makes her a standout addition to RMU's forward group. She thrives in the faceoff circle and excels as a 200-foot player who contributes at both ends of the ice. Her experience with Belle Tire has shaped her into a reliable and consistent player, ready to bring her competitive edge and dedication to the collegiate stage. Mary's ability to read the game and drive offensive play will be key assets for RMU.

This group of incoming players represents the future of RMU women's hockey, combining talent, determination, and leadership to help continue building a strong and competitive program.
