Hatch Tabbed AHA Goaltender of the Week

11/25/2025 1:00:00 PM

BOSTON – RMU women's hockey goaltender Maggie Hatch has been named the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Goaltender of the Week, earning her first weekly honor of the season and the fourth of her career. The redshirt junior's standout weekend helped the Colonials claim five of six possible points in their road series at Lindenwood.

Hatch was a difference-maker throughout the two-game set. In game one, Hatch turned aside 39 shots and finished with a .951 save percentage. After the teams skated to a 2-2 draw, Hatch was flawless in the shootout, stopping both attempts she faced to secure the extra conference point for the Colonials.

She elevated her performance even further in game two, posting a 29-save shutout—her second of the season and the fifth of her career. With the clean sheet, Hatch climbed into fifth place on RMU's all-time shutouts list.

Over the weekend, Hatch totaled 68 saves with a .971 save percentage, continuing her steady rise in the program record book. She now sits at 1,951 career saves, moving past Kristen DiCiocco for third all-time. Hatch is quickly approaching the prestigious 2,000-save milestone, which only two players in RMU history have ever reached.

This marks RMU's fifth AHA weekly award of the season:
Up next, RMU continues its six-game road swing with a two-game conference series at RIT. The Colonials and Tigers meet on Friday, November 28 at 2:00 PM and again on Saturday, November 29 at 2:00 PM. Both matchups will stream live on FloHockey.
