MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU women's track and field team will open the 2025-26 indoor season at the Youngstown Icebreaker on Friday.
 
MEET INFORMATION
The 14^th Annual Youngstown State Icebreaker will take place on Friday afternoon, with events beginning at 12:00 p.m. The meet will take place at the Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS) on YSU's campus.
 
Admission for the meet is $10 while parking on the YSU campus is $5

A LOOK AT RMU
The 2025-26 RMU women's track & field roster features 43 athletes, including 11 freshmen, 14 sophomores, six juniors, 11 seniors, and one graduate student.
 
Returning to the Colonials this year are Aliena Reynolds-Diaz, Morgan Fuller, and Samantha Hennen, who were all a part of the DMR team that secured gold at last year's Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championship with a record time of 11:57.58.
 
Also returning this year for RMU is Julia Dill, who won silver in the 5000m with a time of 17:11.01 and took bronze in the 3000m, finishing in 9:42.72. Ava Deming also returns for the Colonials. Deming took sixth place in the 800m to score three points for RMU at the Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championship.
 
Head coach Bryan Delsite remains at the helm of the RMU women's track & field team. Delsite has been the head coach since June of 2020, and since then, he has witnessed several school records fall during his time at RMU. Joining Delsite on the coaching staff for the 2025-26 season are Associate Head Coach Brent Shelby and Assistant Coach Juris Silenieks.
