MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - RMU Lacrosse goalkeeper Nate Fechter was selected for the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team.

In the 2025 season, Fechter led the Northeast Conference with 198 saves, ending the season as 20th in NCAA and was third in the NEC with a .548 save percentage. His impressive performance allowed him to finish with a 10.06 GAA, ranking 23rd in the NCAA and third in NEC. Averaging 11.65 saves per game, Fechter was awarded not one but three NEC Defensive Player of the Week highlights. Fechter was also selected for the NEC All-Tournament Team as well as the NEC Second Team All-Conference.

Academically, the marketing major carries a cumulative grade point average of 3.856.

The CSC Academic All-District® program highlights student-athletes who represent the pinnacle of academic and athletic achievement across NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA III, and NAIA. To be eligible, student-athletes must meet rigorous academic standards in addition to significant on-field performance criteria. The At-Large program includes beach volleyball, bowling, rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing and water polo.
