MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU men's soccer program today unveiled its 2025 fall schedule, featuring a robust slate of non-conference matchups and competitive Horizon League play. The Colonials are set for 16 regular season contests and three exhibition matches.
"We are incredibly excited about the 2025 schedule and the opportunities it presents for our team," said Head Coach
Jonathan Potter. "We've put together a challenging non-conference schedule that will test us early and often, helping us prepare for the rigor of Horizon League competition. Our goal is always to compete at the highest level, and this schedule will undoubtedly push us to achieve that."
The Colonials will kick off their 2025 campaign with three exhibition matches, first traveling to the University of Pittsburgh on Friday, August 8, followed by a home exhibition against Bowling Green Green University on Monday, August 11. RMU will play their final exhibition match at WVU on Saturday, August 16.
RMU's regular season begins on Thursday, August 21, with a road test against Mercyhurst.
Key non-conference matchups include road trips to Duquesne (August 24), Saint Francis (September 4), Niagara (September 7) and Penn State (September 30). In non-conference play, the Colonials will host Mount Saint Mary's (September 1) and Saint Bonaventure (October 7).
Horizon League action begins in September, with notable home games against Detroit Mercy (September 13), Northern Kentucky (September 20), IU Indy (October 4), Cleveland State (October 11) and Milwaukee (October 25).
Road conference matchups include Purdue Fort Wayne (September 27), Oakland (October 18), Green Bay (October 31) and Wright State (November 4).
The 2025 Horizon League Men's Soccer Championship is set to begin on Sunday, November 9, with the Quarterfinals, followed by the Semifinals on Thursday, November 13, and the Final on Saturday, November 15.
