MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – After earning Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week honors, senior captain Fabian Overkamp has been selected to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week.
 
The recognition marks Overkamp's first national honor. The defender from Königswinter, Germany, led all defenders in the nation last week in points, scoring two goals and adding an assist.
 
Overkamp played for 83 minutes in RMU's 4-0 conference-opening win over Detroit Mercy, contributing to the Colonials' fourth clean sheet of the season.
 
Throughout his career, Overkamp has collected multiple accolades, including two Player of the Week awards, College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors (2024), a spot on the All-Horizon League Second Team (2024), and a selection to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team last season.
