CLEVELAND, Ohio – Sophomore midfielder
Mia Berthoff was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Berthoff, a sophomore from Liverpool, New York, was the first Colonial since 2015 to record three hat tricks in a row to begin a season, with the feat being completed in the Colonials' thrilling 13-12 win over Duquesne, which ended with Berthoff hitting the game-winning shot with two seconds on the clock. In the win, Berthoff tallied four total goals.
With a great start to the season, Berthoff leads the Colonials in multiple categories, including leading the team in goals (13), assists (5), and points (18).
