INDIANAPOLIS – Redshirt senior Courtney Poulich has been named the Under Armour #HLSB Player of the Week for the second time this season, following a dominant stretch against Akron and IU Indy that helped lead RMU to a 3-2 week.

The honor marks the fourth weekly award of Poulich's career from the Horizon League.

Poulich turned in an exceptional performance at the plate, going 12-for-19 (.632) across five games. Of her 12 hits, four left the yard, while she also recorded her first triple of the season and added two doubles.

Her biggest moment came in RMU's dramatic comeback win over IU Indy, when she delivered two clutch home runs. Poulich went deep in both the bottom of the seventh inning to force extras and again in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Colonials to an 8-7 victory.

On the week, she totaled 14 RBIs, posted a .682 on-base percentage and an impressive 1.474 slugging percentage.

With her four home runs, Poulich increased her season total to 21, setting a new Horizon League single-season record and surpassing the previous mark of 20 set in 2004.

She has now driven in 64 RBIs in 2026 and is closing in on the conference record of 78, which was set in 1999.

RMU has now collected six Player of the Week honors this season. Poulich and Aglaia Rudd have each earned the distinction twice, while Mary Brant and Eloise Facher have also been recognized.

The Colonials return to action on Tuesday, April 21, when they host Pitt at 4:00 PM at the NAC Softball Field. The game will stream live on ESPN+.
