Tabbed the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 6, 2017, is junior forward Jane Schleicher of the soccer squad. In a split last weekend, Schleicher was responsible for all four goals for the Colonials, registering three goals and an assist. In a 2-1 setback to Niagara (9/1) at the North Athletic Complex, Schleicher found the back of the net at the 4:36 mark to give Robert Morris a 1-0 lead. Two days later, she assisted on the first goal of the game and then scored the next two in helping the Colonials to a 3-2 win @ Howard (9/3/17). In six games this season, Schleicher, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., has compiled four goals and an assist for nine points.Â
