Tabbed the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 25, 2019, is redshirt sophomore running back Alijah Jackson of the football team. In a 31-21 victory @ VMI (9/21) that helped the Colonials post their first road victory since 2015, Jackson rushed for 125 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown. On the second play of RMU’s second drive of the afternoon, Jackson broke through and raced 47 yards to the end zone to give the Colonials an early 7-0 advantage. Jackson’s performance against the Keydets marked his second consecutive 100-yard rushing performance and fifth of his career. Through four games, Jackson, a native of Englewood, N.J., has rushed for 361 yards, an average of 90.2 yards per contest, and three touchdowns.
