One of two to earn Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week accolades for Jan. 27, 2021, is sophomore goaltender Raygan Kirk, who takes home her second plaudit of the 2020-21 season. Kirk helped the Colonials earn a two-game road sweep of Syracuse last weekend, earning 2-1 victories in each game. In the opening game of the set, Kirk, a native of Ste. Anne, Manitoba, turned away 31 shots, including 13 in the first period. The next day she matched her 13 saves in the first period en route to matching a season-high with 35 saves. For her efforts, Kirk was named the College Hockey America (CHA) Goaltender of the Week for the second consecutive week. On the 2020-21 season, Kirk owns a record of 4-1-1 (.750) and has recorded a goals against average of 1.80 and a .946 save percentage. An environmental science major, Kirk has compiled a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.99.
