Earning the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week nod for Nov. 17, 2021, is redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Ricardo Watson of the football team. In RMU’s road finale of the 2021 campaign @ Monmouth (11/13), Watson set a career high with eight tackles, each of the solo variety. Included among those stops were a pair of sacks, which pushed his season total on the year to six and-a-half, which leads the Colonials and ranks fourth in the Big South. Overall on the 2021 season, Watson, a native of Tampa, Fla., and a sport management major, has compiled 33 tackles, including 24 solo stops. He also owns 10 tackles for loss, an interception and a forced fumble.
