Fifth-year Taylor Rhinehart of the softball program earns her second Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week of the 2022 spring season for May 4, 2022. In a doubleheader sweep @ Oakland (4/30), Rhinehart fired a complete game one-hitter to propel the Colonials to a 4-0 victory in the opener. She faced one batter over the minimum, striking out five in the triumph. In 32.2 innings against Horizon League foes during the 2022 season, Rhinehart, a native of Woodinville, Wash., has yet to allow an earned run. Overall during the 2022 campaign Rhinehart owns a record of 4-0 from the circle in 17 appearances, including two starts, with a 1.05 earned run average (ERA). She has struck out 42 in 46.2 innings and has notched four saves. In the box, Rhinehart has hit .271 (35-for-129) this season and is tied for the team lead in home runs (4).
