Senior Allena Carmody of the volleyball team is the recipient of the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 2, 2022. In a trio of matches last week, Carmody racked up 53 digs in 12 sets, an average of 4.42 per set. Her first dig of RMU’s match @ IUPUI (10/28) gave her 1,000 for her career, helping Carmody become the 14th member of the RMU 1,000-Dig Club as well as the second student-athlete in as many years to join the club. Carmody, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., owns 1,052 career digs during her time in an RMU uniform, averaging 2.97 per set. So far during the 2022 campaign, Carmody ranks sixth in the Horizon League with an average of 3.96 digs per set thanks to 404 on the year in 102 sets.
