Redshirt sophomore Meadow Sacadura of the softball team has been tabbed the Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for March 15, 2023. In helping the Colonials finish 3-1 (.750) at the Tennessee Tech Tournament last weekend, Sacadura recorded a .455/.538/.545 slash line along with three runs and five RBI. Her biggest hit of the weekend came in a 4-3 win over Ohio (3/11), as her RBI single in the top of the seventh snapped a 3-3 tie and propelled the Colonials to the win. Through the first month of the 2023 campaign, Sacadura, a native of Mechanicsville, Md., leads the Colonials with 11 RBI and is hitting .476 (10-for-21) with runners in scoring position.
