Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Robert Morris University men's tennis team continued its 2007 spring season Friday with a 7-0 loss at Carnegie Mellon. The defeat drops the Colonials to 1-5 overall on the 2006-07 campaign.
At No. 1 singles, freshman Sean Curley (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Woodland Hills) dropped a 6-1, 6-3 decision to James Muliawan, while sophomore Ryan Cameron (Battle Creek, Mich. / Harper Creek) fell to Yiran Liu at No. 4 singles, 6-2 and 6-2.
RMU is next in action Friday, Feb. 16, when it travels to Fort Wayne, Indiana, for a 9:00 a.m. match @ IPFW. The Colonials will stay in Fort Wayne for a neutral site match, taking on Illinois-Chicago Saturday, Feb. 17, also at 9:00 a.m.
