The Game
The Robert Morris University Colonials (8-5, 2-0 Northeast
Conference) return to NEC play for the duration of the season Saturday, Jan. 7,
when they travel to New Britain, Conn., to take on the Central Connecticut
State Blue Devils (6-7, 0-2 NEC). The Colonials went 6-5 against non-conference
teams, the second-most victories in such games in team history.

Second Half Senior
Senior Mary Durojaye has done nearly all of her work in the
second half of the last two games, averaging 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in
the final 20 minutes. Against Duquesne, she had 12 second half points and five
rebounds before tallying 13 points and 10 rebounds in the non-conference finale
against Miami (Ohio).
Non-Conference Victories
The Colonials six non-conference wins this season are the
second most since the team joined the ECAC Metro / Northeast Conference. RMU
posted a non-league mark of 7-5 in 1986-87 and also had six wins in 2006-07 and
2007-08.
The Series vs. Central Connecticut State
The Colonials have won ten of their last 11 games against
the Blue Devils and lead the all-time series, 13-11. RMU head coach Sal Buscaglia is 22-4 all-time against CCSU. RMU is 3-8 in New Britain and 10-3 at
home.
