Women’s Hockey to Team Up With Children’s Hospital

The Colonials are holding a fundraiser on Nov. 29 against Maine with proceeds going to the Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Robert Morris University women's hockey team is teaming up with the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for a fundraiser on Nov. 29.

The Colonials host Maine that afternoon at 2:05 p.m. in a non-conference matchup.

Fans will make a donation instead of paying the normal admission fee. Attendees will choose a decoration from the Christmas tree on the concourse that features a gift description and price, and pay that amount in order to attend the game. Items on the tree include toys for various ages, arts and crafts, electronics, and sports equipment.

The RMU student-athletes will then create a shopping list based on the tags chosen and purchase them for the patients at the Children's Hospital.

For more information on how to donate to the Children's Hospital, check out Child's Play Charity or Starlight Children's Foundation.
