In his 20th and final year, head coach Joe Walton and his team will open the home season against the Bears of Morgan State on Saturday, Sept. 7 at noon. This will mark the first time in program history that the Bears have visited the Colonials. The season is also highlighted by the 16th matchup with Dayton on Sept. 14, and a night game against local rival Duquesne on Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. The matchup with the Dukes will occur on Homecoming weekend. RMU will finish out their home schedule with NEC games against Bryant on Nov. 2 and Sacred Heart on Nov. 16.

During that span, Robert Morris has claimed six NEC, tying the league high, a pair of I-AA mid-major national championships according to Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette and two ECAC Bowl victories.
