Robert Morris University women's hockey team was named College Hockey America (CHA) Co-Rookie of the Week, announced the league Monday afternoon.
This week's honor marks the fifth overall for Gebhard.
Gebhard dished an assist in Friday's 2-1 win over Mercyhurst, and posted a power-play goal and an assist for two points in Saturday's 3-3 tie with the Lakers. She also registered a blocked shot in Saturday's series finale. The rookie from Plenty, Saskatchewan, is riding a career-high seven-game point streak, and has recorded a multi-point effort in six of her last nine outings.
Gebhard leads the nation in power-play goals (seven) and points per game among freshmen (1.38).
Robert Morris remains on the road this week for another CHA series at Syracuse on Friday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 28 at 3 p.m.
