Winthrop, Mass. – Redshirt junior forward Brittany Howard and freshman forward Jaycee Gebhard of the Robert Morris University women's hockey team were named College Hockey America (CHA) Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, announced the league Monday afternoon.
 
This week's honors mark Howard's ninth career CHA Player of the Week nod, her sixth this season, and 13^th overall weekly honor from the conference and the sixth overall for Gebhard.
 
Howard helped Robert Morris (19-3-6, 12-2-2 CHA) secure a first-round bye in the CHA Tournament with a pair of multi-point games against RIT. She posted a career-high-tying four points on two goals and two assists on Friday, then added another goal and a third assist in Saturday's 5-2 win. She has tabbed 15 multi-point games this season. Howard set a new Robert Morris single-season record this weekend, as she increased her season point total to a program-best 45 points.
 
Gebhard also recorded a pair of multi-point games for the Colonials this weekend. She totaled five points on the weekend on three goals and two assists. She scored twice and dished an assist in Friday's 4-1 win, then posted a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-2 victory.
 
Robert Morris will be back at 84 Lumber Arena this weekend to wrap up the home portion of the regular season schedule with a two-game series against in-state, CHA foe Penn State on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 18 at 3:05 p.m. Senior Day recognition will take place prior to puck drop on Saturday, Feb. 18.
