MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- In conjunction with its annual Fall Play Day, the
Robert Morris University women's lacrosse team will be hosting a free clinic on Saturday, Sept. 28, for young players from kindergarten through eighth grade.
While RMU and five other NCAA Division I teams battle it out throughout the day on campus, the clinic will take place from 11 a.m. to noon on the Nicholson Lawn. Colonials coaches and players will be on hand throughout the hour to demonstrate skills and encourage development in those aspiring to reach the next level.
Please

Attendance is free for the Fall Play Day as well, as Canisius, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Liberty and Kent State will join the Colonials in kicking off the competitive fall season. RMU will play three games -- at 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. -- on the turf at Joe Walton Stadium, just a short walk from Nicholson Lawn.
Led by head coach
Katrina Silva, the Colonials are preparing for their 16th season in D-I lacrosse. They are 20-6 in the Northeast Conference over the past four years and have gone a combined 19 games over .500 since the start of the 2014 season, making the NEC tournament six consecutive times. For more on the program's history,
