Moon Township, Pa. – The RMU Department of Athletics announced Wednesday that six basketball games during the 2021-22 season, including four men's games and two women's contests, will be broadcast live regionally thanks to a partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group.
As part of the regional television package, RMU basketball games will be seen live on both 22 The Point (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and MeTV Ohio Valley (Steubenville, Ohio and Wheeling, W.Va.).

Each of the four men's basketball games to be seen live regionally are part of RMU's Horizon League schedule and include home games against Wright State (Jan. 13), Milwaukee (Jan. 27), Detroit (Feb. 9) and IUPUI (Feb. 17). Tip time for each of the broadcasts from the UPMC Events Center is 7:00 p.m.
The regional television package for the RMU women's basketball team includes its Jan. 20 matchup with Youngstown State as well as its Friday, Feb. 18, tilt against Wright State. Both games also tip at 7:00 p.m.

Season tickets for the 2021-22 season are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the RMU Ticket Office at (412) 397-4949. All season tickets for
men's basketball are $100 with a minimum donation to the RMU Athletics general fund. Season tickets for RMU
women's basketball are $100 for courtside and $80 for general admission with a minimum donation to the RMU Athletics general fund.
The announcement of RMU's partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group comes on the heels of the
Horizon League announcing its 2021-22 television package. RMU will have its men's Horizon League opener @ Milwaukee Saturday, Dec. 4, air live on ESPNU at Noon ET, while the Colonials have also been picked for possible wild card matchups on ESPN2.
