PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Robert Morris University women's lacrosse team was picked to finish second overall in the 2021 MAC Preseason Coaches Poll released this morning.
The Colonials garnered 32 total points, including two first-place votes at the onset of their first season as members of the MAC Conference, narrowly edged out by conference favorite Central Michigan with with 33 points.

The Colonials boast an experienced and deep roster heading into the 2021 season, returning their three top scorers in Mackenzie Gandy, Melanie Gandy and Clio Kerr, as well as Katelyn Miller's the program's all-time leader in goalie wins.
Bolstered by an exciting twelve-girl freshman class, the Colonials also return ground ball leaders Madison Burke and Kelly Colegrove as well as free-position goals leaders Thalia Zolis and Shea McArdle.
RMU kicks off its season this Saturday, February 20 when they host Liberty University at 1:00 p.m. at Joe Walton Stadium.
