AKRON – The RMU women's track and field team took home three first-place finishes in its first meet since December at the Al Campbell Invitational hosted by Akron University on Friday night.
 
Julia Dill claimed first place out of 57 in the mile with a time of 5:03.11, while Samantha Hennen claimed first in the 3000m with a time of 9:35.57.
 
The DMR team of Emma Bradbury, Ailena Reynolds-Diaz, Ava Deming, and Hennen won first place with a time of 12:29.61, which is sixth best in school history.
 
The Colonials also had five top-five finishes, with Hayzes Robinson finishing 4^th in the 60m dash (7.62), the DMR team of Lyla Brew, Kaylee Foringer, Alyssa Croco, and Tessa Rodriguez finishing in second with a time of 12:37.49, and Mariya Chamberlain taking 2^nd in the long jump and triple jump with a distance of 5.58m and 11.57m.
