Rocio Medrano lived in Chihuahua, Mexico, where her family worked and owned a farm. She moved a suburb of Dallas called Greenville when she was 12 years old. That's when she discovered an affinity for basketball that would eventually lead her from the fields of Chihuahua to the hardcourt of the Charles L. Sewall Center.
