Freshman forward Brittany Howard of the hockey team is honored as the Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 16, 2013, after her role in helping the Colonials earn a sweep at Bemijdi State last weekend. In the pair of games, Howard tallied a goal and a pair of assists, giving her a team-high five points through the first four games of the 2013-14 campaign. She assisted on the eventual game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over the Beavers in the first game of the series, followed by a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory that helped Robert Morris earn the sweep. For her efforts, Howard was tabbed the College Hockey America (CHA) Rookie of the Week Oct. 14.
