Earning her third Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2016-17 campaign is senior guard Anna Niki Stamolamprou of the basketball squad. In a pair of key road wins last week for Robert Morris, Stamolamprou averaged 21.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest. In a 50-44 victory @ Mount St. Mary’s (1/28/17), Stamolamprou, a native of Thessaloniki, Greece, finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Two days later in a 70-68 win over in-state Saint Francis U (1/30/17) at DeGol Arena, Stamolamprou shot 11-for-22 from the floor to lead the Colonials with 27 points. Thanks to her performance against the Red Flash, Stamolamprou moved into second place all-time at RMU for career points. Named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week (2/1/17), Stamolamprou is leading Robert Morris in scoring at 16.1 points per game while also pulling down an average of 5.5 rebounds per contest.
