Earning the Peoples Natural Gas RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 19, 2018, is freshman guard Isabella Posset of the basketball squad. Making her first career start in a 73-53 victory over Pitt-Johnstown (12/15/18) at the North Athletic Complex, Posset contributed a career-high 16 points in 29 minutes of action. She finished 5-for-8 from the field, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, while adding three rebounds, an assist, block and steal. For her efforts, Posset, a native of Beaver, Pa., was tabbed the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week (12/17/18). Posset also added 10 points in a 64-63 victory over Delaware State (12/18/18) at the North Athletic Complex and on the 2018-19 campaign is proving the Colonials with averages of 7.9 points and 2.5 assists per contest.
