MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- The
Robert Morris University women's lacrosse team is proud to welcome top players from the NCAA and high school ranks over the span of two days this weekend.
On this upcoming Saturday, Sept. 28, the Colonials will host Central Michigan, Kent State, Canisius, Cincinnati and Liberty as part of the team's annual Fall Play Day. Competition will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Joe Walton Stadium on the RMU campus, with each game starting on the hour and each team playing a total of three times.
RMUÂ will play three games -- at 8 a.m. against Central Michigan, 1 p.m. against Cincinnati and 3 p.m. against Kent State -- as its fall competitive season heats up.

On Sunday, Sept. 29, the Colonials' coaching staff and players will host a Prospect Day, which allows aspiring Division I lacrosse players to explore all the opportunities this university has to offer. Prospect Day is open to all athletes entering ninth through 12th grades and runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Included in the experience will be a campus tour, an informational session with admissions and a question-answer session with coaches and current RMU players. After that, prospects will grab lunch at Colonial Café, then complete their day with a clinic conducted by the RMU staff.

Katrina Silva, the Colonials are preparing for their 16th season in D-I lacrosse. They are 20-6 in the Northeast Conference over the past four years and have gone a combined 19 games over .500 since the start of the 2014 season, making the NEC tournament six consecutive times. For more on the program's history,Â
