Moon Township, Pa. – The RMU cross country team announced its 2021 schedule Thursday, which includes back-to-back home meets for the first time in program history.
The Colonials will christen the 2021 campaign Friday, Sept. 3, by co-hosting the Yinzer Cup with Duquesne, Pitt and Carnegie Mellon. The field also includes Saint Francis U, Seton Hill and fellow Horizon League member Youngstown State and will take place at Youthtowne in Clinton, Pa.
RMU returns to Youthtowne Friday, Sept. 17, to host the RMU Colonial Invitational. Other meets for the Colonials in 2021 include the Paul Short Run (10/1) in Bethlehem, Pa., and the Canisius Alumni Classic (10/16) in Buffalo, N.Y.

The 2021 Horizon League Championships are set for Saturday, Oct. 30, in Carmel, Ind., at the Northview Church Course. The championships are hosted by IUPUI.
Led by second-year head coach
Bryan Delsite, the 2021 roster for the Colonials includes five returners and six newcomers. The RMU men's cross country team was also reinstated for the 2021 season and will compete for the first time as an NCAA Division I program since 2013. The roster includes a senior, sophomore and eight rookies.
