Taking home the final Peoples Natural Gas RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week of the 2018-19 season is senior Grace Faye of the rowing team. She is one of two honorees this week, joining redshirt senior teammate Melissa Asaro. Faye helped lead the Colonials to fifth place at the 2019 Metro Atlantic Athletic Association (MAAC) Championships last weekend in Pennsauken Township, N.J., with 53 points. Faye was part of the Robert Morris Varsity 8 boat that advanced to the Grand Final after recording a time of 7:17.653 in the heats. In the Grand Final, Faye helped Robert Morris record a time of 7:28.154. Thanks to her performance, Faye was named to the 2019 All-MAAC Second Team. It marks her second career postseason honor, as she was also named to the 2018 All-MAAC First Team. A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Faye earned a management degree from Robert Morris this spring and graduated with a 3.28 grade point average (GPA).
