One of two from the RMU hockey team to be selected as the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 16, 2020, is sophomore goaltender Raygan Kirk. In a road sweep of Lindenwood last week that helped the Colonials improve to 4-0 on the 2020-21 campaign, Kirk started in between the pipes and pitched a shutout in a 4-0 triumph (12/10/20) to open the series. She turned away 32 shots in the victory, including 14 saves in the third period to preserve the shutout. Kirk, a native of Ste. Anne, Manitoba, was tabbed the College Hockey America (CHA) Goaltender of the Week (12/15/20) for her role in the win over the Lions. On the 2020-21 season, Kirk is 2-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and a .970 save percentage. An environmental science major, Kirk owns a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.99.
