Sophomore goalkeeper Friedrich Petrelli of the soccer team is one of two Chick-fil-A Robinson RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honorees for Sept. 21, 2022, as he joins teammate Chase Gilley. In a 5-0 triumph @ Milwaukee (9/17) that improved the Colonials to 2-0 in Horizon League action, Petrelli registered his first clean sheet. He made four saves on the afternoon, with the Panthers registering 18 shots overall, including 10 in the second half. For his efforts, Petrelli, a native of Hamburg, Germany, was selected as the #HLMSOC Defensive Player of the Week (9/19). In five starts in net for RMU this season, Petrelli has posted 13 saves, a goals against average of 1.40 and a .650 save percentage.
