Earning one of two Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honors for May 13, 2015, is junior Lauren Hackett of the softball team. In three games of the 2015 Northeast Conference Tournament at the North Athletic Complex, Hackett reached base six times, finishing 4-for-5 at the plate while drawing a pair of walks. She also scored and drove in a run. Hackett, a native of Glenshaw, Pa., finished 2-for-2 with a double, run scored and RBI in the first game of the tournament against LIU Brooklyn (5/7). The next day in a 2-0 win over Fairleigh Dickinson (5/8), Hackett drew a pair of walks while also registering a base hit. For her efforts, Hackett earned a spot on the 2015 All-NEC Tournament Team.
