Freshman Kaitlyn Clark of the softball team is the recipient of the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for April 18, 2018. Clark started five games at third base last week and hit .500 (5-for-10) while recording an OPS of 1.583. She finished with three runs, three RBI, two doubles and a pair of home runs. She hit the first round tripper of her career in game one @ LIU Brooklyn (4/14), followed by another home run in the first game of a double dip @ Sacred Heart (4/15). For her efforts, Clark, a native of Canal Fulton, Ohio, was selected as the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week (4/16). Â Â
