Earning one of two Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nods for Dec. 4, 2019, is senior center Nneka Ezeigbo of the women’s basketball team. In a pair of victories last week on Peoples Court at the UPMC Events Center, Ezeigbo averaged 13.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 50 percent (9-for-18) from the field. In a 63-30 win over Pitt-Johnstown (11/27/19), Ezeigbo, a native of Ewing, N.J., contributed 10 points, six rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals. She followed with her 20th career double-double as Robert Morris picked up its first win in program history against a BIG EAST opponent with a 71-57 victory over Xavier (12/1/19). For her efforts, Ezeigbo was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week (12/2/19). In seven games on the 2019-20 campaign, Ezeigbo is averaging 15.0 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 steals per contest.
