Named the Chick-Fil-A Robinson RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 12, 2020, is senior Madison Riggle of the softball team. In a split of four games at the Blue Hose Invitational in Clinton, S.C., to open the 2020 campaign, Riggle, a native of Roseville, Ohio, hit .455 (5-for-11) with three runs, two home runs and six RBI. In a 15-2 victory over South Carolina State (2/8), Riggle finished 3-for-3 at the dish with two runs and four RBI, including a grand slam in bottom of the second inning that broke the game open. The next day, Riggle added a solo home run against Norfolk State (2/9). Through the first four games of the 2020 campaign, Riggle has already doubled her career total for home runs.
