1985-90

Dickens helped Robert Morris to the 1990 NCAA Tournament after missing the previous season with reconstructive hip surgery. A native of Erie, Pa., Dickens earned the ECAC Award of Valor in 1991 for his comeback. Dickens owns RMU class records for rebounds as a freshman (237 in 1985-86) and senior (271 in 1989-90), and his career average of 7.0 rebounds per game ranks second all-time for the Colonials. Dickens concluded his career as the program's all-time leading rebounder with 751 career caroms.
