An extraordinary jumper for Robert Morris, Pencek owns indoor school records for the long (24'0.75"), triple (50'2.50") and high jump (7'0.25"). Pencek, a native of Tunkhannock, Pa., was named the Most Outstanding Performer at the 1999 NEC Indoor Track & Field Championships as well as the NEC Indoor Championships Outstanding Field Performer three consecutive years (2000, 2001 and 2002). In 2000 at the NEC Outdoor Championships, Pencek was named the Outstanding Field Performer. He helped lead the Colonials to indoor team championships in 1999 and 2000 and an outdoor team championship in 2000. Pencek also owns RMU career school records for points scored at both the NEC indoor (114) and outdoor (113) track & field championships.
